Created Date incorrect

I'm new to this application. When I import photos, either from the camera or card, and look at the meta data the last modified date is correct and matches the time the picture was taken, but aperture is displaying the "created date" incorrectly making it a few hours earlier. I have checked the time zone pull down and they are set correctly.

I'm going to have to change dates manually forever, if I can't determine what I'm doing wrong. Anyone have an idea?

Frank I didn't see what you had posted until I had already done the following test...

1. I took a picture and imported it from card into iPhoto. Time is correct 9:38:07.

2. Imported directly from card to Aperture. Time is correct 9:38:07

however
3. Import from iPhoto to Aperture using iPhoto Browser incorrect time of 4:38:07 is shown on photo in browser (Time zone is set Eastern and Eastern.)

I'm having a similar issue on some of my photos. I recently did an iPhoto import to Aperture. Several of my Projects (previously Events), have incorrect dates on them. My case tends to show the affected photos with an earlier time. My Date Created time is several hours earlier than my date taken time.

Any help would be appreciated.

Pictures imported into iPhoto are correct, fire up aperture and import same picture into Aperture and time is incorrect.

I have the exact opposite issue.

My pics in Aperture are all correctly displayed after having changed both daylight savings and time zone(s) after coming home from my last vacation in South East Asia.

After synching my library to my iPad Air, I discovered that iPhoto showed the wrong time & date, showing it like it was before i made these changes.
