Absolutely disgraceful on Apple's part. Did they not give you a phone number or email address for Apple's legal department in Cork? Surely they don't expect you to drive all the way to Ireland?

Guys, please submit your fidbacks. This discussion has more 130,000 views so far. The power button problem is a disaster. Apple can't pretend the problem does not exist.

I have the same problem and I have a time slot scheduled, but I don't have my warrenty anymore or insurance on my phone. Will they replace it anyway?

The botton stopped working overnight. I do not know what happened, but apple needs to fix all the defective iphones. I hope someone can find a fix for the problem soon.

Well add me to the list. Found this thread after the button didnt spring back. Now its super hard to activate(only the right side moves a bit)

Sprint iPhone 4s bought launch week.

Same thing happened to me. Try to fix it by myself or get a new one. Not worth to repair.

Add Another to the list too !! . Mine died today just so randomly cant even press it in at all.The Iphone 4's just less than 6 months old. dont know what to do with it !

Another one here! Less than 5 month old! Do AT&T still bring you a refurbished one at the Repair Center?

And then in 6 months when your new one is out of warranty, BAM...the shock sets in and you start looking at Androids and Blackberrys like me.

thanks for the info but, I am out of warrenty and, i've had the colour changed (by a trained ex-apple worker) and i have the same problem. any helf/infomation would be great!
