Do u have an Iphone 4 or 4S.. I have the 4 and it does not give me this option. I get as far as accessibility, but I do not see the assistive touch. Please help.

Add me to the list of defective power button iphone 4 users :-( Having to drive 3 hours to get to the nearest apple store to have it replaced. Still under warranty. Not happy about the drive though.

Your iphone must be more then a year old, or you do not have Apple Care protection.

My iphone 4 power/sleep button failed too. Just like everyone else, wiggly loose, unresponsive. Failed a little over 12-months. 😟

My power button stuck after 1 year and 3 months. Apple offered a replacement of the phone for $160. Its really a big shame for a phone that cost almost 700 € to last only a bit more than a year!!

my button just jammed all the sudden too. my iphone is under warrinty still but i was wondering if they will actually fix the button or just give me a whole new iphone?

This just happened to my iPhone 4 yesterday. The power button is stuck in the depressed position and won't pop out, but the phone isn't acting at all like the button is pressed.

Add me to the list for broken power buttons...my iPhone 4 is 18 months old. I was told $169 to replace it by the Genius bar. My phone is in perfect condition otherwise 😟.

From what I've heard, if it's under warranty, they will replace it. No where online have I found that anyone had their button "fixed" by Apple.

Those who are talking about the quick fix solution to go into Assistive Touch, under Settings/General /Accesability... do you have a 4G phone because I do not have the assistive touch option there.
