iPhone 4 Power Button Stuck

Mine was replaced with a refurbished one, no questions asked. It was older than one year so no apple warranty, but still under European 2 year shop warranty.

This just happened to me today, my only question is will the Apple store replace my phone? I actually bought mine at Verizon, so should I take it there or is this an issue with Apple?

Just wanna hear from the iPhone support center about the power button stuck because my iPhone 4 is causing the same problem for about 2 weeks now.

to make a virtual lock button, follow this Settings > General > Accessibility > Assistive Touch and toggle it to ‘On’. Mine just stopped working. now i can still lock my phone!

as you can see you have a lot of company...mine just started getting stuck a week ago 😟

If in warranty, then yes. Out of warranty, no. You'd have to pay them the "repair" price.

Some places will do it for $70 bucks or so.

Me too. iPhone 4s, 6 months old, in protective case, well-cared for. Power button non-functional. Wow.

You should be able to get ur 4s replaced. I got mine replaced with no questions asked :)

Took the 4s to the Apple store. They had a quick look and said, Yeah let's get you a new one. No hassle. Thanks Apple!

They won't charge you if you are in warranty. They will firstly check why the problem is then give you a replacement free of charge straight away

except this isnt an app they install at the apple store. its available under settings under accessibility to anyone. and i think the best fix is to not drop the phone...

Same issue here in Brazil with an iPhone 4S. Button stuck. Apple is disgusting!!! Will certainly not get the iPhone 5 but rather a Samsung!!!
