Hi, I was facing same problem for two days but it can be solved only with Apple support. My account was disabled because I changed time zone! I could use everything else but to use App Store. So the only solution is for support to verify your account. When I asked them will this be happening every time I travel to different zone answer was no and that this happened randomly.

Hope this helps someone in future as I vasted too much time!

Im having issues too.

My problem is like this.

I have an itunes acct with apple id and pw, works fine.

But this id and pw won't allow me into discussions, (i have set up a new acct just to post this)

My iphone now won't let me update any apps from the app store, because it keeps auto adding a different email address into the apple id. however, i have the correct email address for apple id set in "settings"

This is a joke that its been going on since January.

Just got off the phone with Apple Support. I have been working on this same issue for 2 weeks now. I was told to go to www.apple.com/support/itunes. Then under "Get Customer Service" choose ITunes Store Account and Billing. Then choose "Managing your account" option. You will see an option where you can email, choose this. This brings up a form that you need to fill out and submit. Just tell them that you have reviewed your account (assuming you have) and you see no fraudulent activities. Then ask them to enable your account. You should have your account enabled within 24 hours.......at least that is what I was told. I just filled out the form and submitted it. I guess I will see if it worked tomorrow. Will reply back with any news.

My ID has now been restored and enabled and working now. After filling out the form and emailing it, Apple contacted me, asked me a few security questions about my account and got me back on track. I have purchased a couple of apps for my iPhone and a couple of songs for iTunes and all is working well again. I would encourage all of you to follow these directions outlined in my May 15th posting. Yea!

I too am having this issue right. I have contact the executive support team. They gave me their direct extension. Been without an active account for 5 days. My account has been active since 2003 and just now they disable it? I have yet to get a reason as to why they disabled it. I was dealing with support in India over email, however they stopped responding to me so I was basically forced to complain to the top. I have done everything... Created new ID, Created new password, Changed CC, nothing works!!!!!!!

The instructions in the May 15th posting worked for me as well. An Apple/iTunes rep verified some basic info via email to re-enable my account. I still do not know what happened to disable the account in the first place. Entire back and forth with rep took less than 8 hours. My only two complaints are that 1) When I called the iPhone customer service line they wanted to extort $29 from me before helping me in any way and 2) That apple doesn't have their own help sheet for this issue.
