This forum deals with Original MBPs. As it could be related to specific hardware, I suggest you post in the MBP 2008/Later forum (or we can ask the Hosts to move this whole thread over there, your choice). And, as I'm sure you're aware, you have a one year hardware warranty, so if this doesn't get worked out, you definitely want to take this up with AppleCare.
So if i run a safe boot where do i go from there?
