I have read a few different discussions on this topic.

One said to go under Keychain Access and look for any warnings on certificates
- I had two and corrected these

One said to log in to iTunes and check for any warnings and verify account info.
- I did this and even downloaded a fee app to test it under the iTunes
- It even mentioned to reset all warnings and log out of the store, did not help

I repaired permissions
- didnt change anything

Cleaned all Caches and temp files (Mac calls them something else)
- I used MainMenu to clean and repair everything doing the batch task

I am compeletly lost. I am in Iraq on an Army post. The Mac App store has worked previously.I did a clean format to completely wipe everything then installed the OS and then updated everything using the Apple Software Update. I am lost on what to do.

Similar problem. App badge showed 3 updates available. Tried "update all', then "update" individually. No reaction to click. Signed out of iTunes, quit both apps. Restarted app store. Cliecked on "Purchases" - one purchase not installed on this machine - click "Install" - voilĂ ! Up came new terms and conditions. Clicked "accept" - now everything works just fine. Hey - Apple - really dumb not to have an alert! Have you been hiring people from Redmond lately?
