Hi,

My problem is that when I open the App Store, it doesn't load (although it doesn't freeze). At the same time, when I open iTunes, it freezes and my curser becomes an hourglass and I can't click anything (I have for Force quit iTunes). I know I have software updates to download in iTunes and Safari, but I can't do that either because halfway through it freezes.

Help! Does anyone know what to do????

Thanks!

I had a similar problem and the solution for me was to:

1) Logout from iTunes

2) Apply proposed solution up here:

rm -rf ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.appstore.plist

rm -rf ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.storeagent.plist

rm -rf ~/Library/Preferences/ByHost/*

Please note, in case you stopped spotlight service you'll also need to re-enable it.

At this point start App Store and it should finally work.

Cheers!
