Verizon iphone 4.... trying to add custom ringtones to phone...

Just received my New Iphone, yay!! Having some difficulties though adding ringtones and assigning them to my contacts. It will only allow me to add 1 custom ringtone so when I go to contacts it lists that 1 ringtone and the other standard tones.. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for your help..

Iphone 4, iOS 4, Verizon Iphone 4

www.mobile17.com or search "Mobile 17" in your app store on your phone and it will be called "Ringtone Maker". There is a free version and one that is .99 cents. You can edit which part of the song you want straight from your phone then it will convert it to the .m4r to play in your ringtones source list after you save it from your phone. It's very easy to do. I tried following all these steps listed before and were too difficult. So here is the most simple way to do it! Enjoy!

I bought the Ringtone Designer Pro app, made five ringtones and installed them in my new iPhone 4 (Verizon). I can select a custom ringtone and, after several tries, get them to register on the contact; but whenever a call comes in, the ring is always the default. This was also true when I used standard ringtones—only default rings. What setting have I failed to find?

Newbie here and I was having problems loading my custom ringtones, but finally got it to work successfully thanks to the video tutorial from "Ringtone Designer." 🙂

But...the problem is when I went to "Sync the ringtones " in iTunes, a popup appears that warns me all my songs and movies will be wiped from my iPhone if I sync ringtones...do I want to continue.

Sure enough, no songs in my iPhone anymore. No biggie...I just had a few in there. Anyone know a way around this?

I downloaded an app to make ringtones. Some work, some do not. Especially the ones I have assigned to specific people. They used to work, but suddenly stopped after I had to do a partial restore. They show up that they are there and assigned, but still don't play. HELP!!
