Magic Mouse suddenly stopped right-clicking and scrolling

My magic mouse just suddenly stopped being able to right-click and scroll after several months. Also does not pick up my multi-touch gestures like side swiping. Tracking and left-clicking is perfectly fine.

My mouse system preferences have the secondary click and scroll enabled. I've restarted my computer, turned the bluetooth on and off, taken out the batteries and put them back into the mouse. Is my mouse defective? Help!

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.6.6)

Thank you Sir for your Wits, saving me a coupLe hundred bucks.If it wasn't for your tip for a simple check of the mouse's right click, all five of my MM would have met the front end of my 45 caliber Smith & Wesson Dirty Harry Magnum PI.....:-)
