My Itunes store is blank but my itunes is working

I've only noticed this just this past week. My itunes is working perfectly but whenever I go to the store, it goes blank. Sometimes it will load and you can see the website then when the bar hits the end (finishing loading) it goes blank again.

Can someone help please?

Mine is doing the same exact thing. I closed the program, opened it back up, did a cold boot, etc. with no results. I quite sure it's an iTunes issue.

My culprit is the Windows version of SpeedBit Video Accelerator as well. Installed in on my WIndows 7 and suddenly I could not open the AppStore.

Uninstalled SpeedBit and had the same problem when running the Network Diagnostic on Secured Connection.

However, after following the steps to reset the netsh winsock

netsh winsock reset

and followed by a system restart, the problem was solved and my iTunes is now back to normal.

Stay away from SpeedBit Video Accelerator for Windows!

I have been struggling with this for over 3 months....I finally got it resolved from another string of suggestions. It is related to what has been said above. I ran the the "netsh winsock reset" and then when I rebooted, my SafeEyes application asked if I wanted to fix it and I ignored it....ITunes store now works. After accessing ITunes store successfully I went back into SafeEyes and then repaired it...iTunes store still worked!!! I had already tried to disable SafeEyes but that was not enough apparently.

I also couldn't sinc my devices but am able to now. I have Windows 7.

I've had this problem (along with 1,000's of other people if you had all the times this questions been asked just on this community, how many pages of comments and comments on comments, and multiple other websites trying to help people find the answer. I've tried multiple things to fix it starting with Apple's support, then going to the community, and moving on to discussions on other websites. Here's a list of things I've done so far starting with a glimmer of hope yesterday morning where this happend:

Last night I uninstalled EVERYTHING per Apple, reinstalled everything including QuickTime which I'll never know why if iTunes needs it it's not part of the download..... so I installed QuickTime, restarted computer at appropriate time, uncheck parental control itunes, hit ok, go back undo, restart and NOTHING. - I'm telling you I've spent more than 7 hours searching for solutions over the last 3 days trying everything I can find online to no avail UNTIL TODAY!

Today I click on iTunes and a message pops up that says Bonjour is disabled. I never disabled it and even went so far to follow instructions below to make sure Windows Firewall made an exception to accept Bonjour in case the Firewall was blocking it.

So I follow instructions on the popup message that told me it was disabled: START>CONTROL PANEL>ADMINISTRATIVE TOOLS>SERVICES> I'm pretty sure that was all the instruction I got on the popup so I winged the rest. The SERVICES screen listed hundreds of SERVICES. I noticed BONJOUR. I clicked BONJOUR. Notice RIGHT SIDE of screen says BONJOUR SERVICES. Options: STOP the service, RESTART the service. I chose to RESTART the service and THAT'S WHAT FINALLY WORKED FOR ME! (I thought.......)

Last night it stopped working again. I'm going ot have a cow if someone doesn't tell me how to fix this:

Here's instructions per a website of what I tried before getting pop up this morning:

Using QuickTime in Windows - Firewall

Troubleshooting QuickTime and Windows Firewall

QuickTime streaming can be affected by firewalls on personal computers. If you suspect that your firewall is preventing access to streaming clips, use the QuickTime Preferences to set the transport to HTTP using port 80. This should solve most firewall issues.

Firewalls and QuickTime Streaming Media Ports

QuickTime streams are typically transported via the RTP/RTSP protocol, but many firewalls (including the Windows XP Service Pack 2 firewall) block these protocols. Should you wish to open your firewall to the RTP/RTSP protocols, you need to do the following:

  • Open port 554 for RTSP/TCP data
  • Open ports 6970 through 6999 (inclusive) for RTP/UDP data.
These ports settings can be changed in 'Control Panel > Security Center':
  • At the bottom of this dialogue box, select 'Windows Firewall' from the 'Manage Security Settings'.
  • Click on the 'Exceptions' tab, and continue to select 'Add Port'. Proceed to add the ports and port information specific to QuickTime that is listed above.
If your QuickTime has already been updated, port settings implemented, and you are still having streaming issues when using QuickTime, please try the following:Windows Firewall - Fix AAlternatively, you can grant the QuickTime player an exception, but media embedded in browsers will still encounter problems and must be granted a similar exception. To allow QuickTime to play within the firewall:
  • From the Start menu, select Control Panel.
  • In the Control Panel, find and double click the icon for the 'Security Center'. In the 'Security Center', under 'Manage Security Settings': select 'Windows Firewall' on the bottom.
  • Find and Select the 'Exceptions' tab. If QuickTime is present, check it. If not, you can add the program to the exceptions list.
  • To add to the exceptions list: Within 'Exceptions', find and select the 'Add Programs' button near the bottom of the window. In the scroll window, browse to 'QuickTime Player' and select 'OK'. This adds QuickTime Player as an acceptable application and an exception to some firewall settings. Remember - if QuickTime is being used within a browser, the browser must be added as an exception as well.
  • To exit and complete, select 'OK' in the 'Windows Firewall' window.
Windows Firewall - Fix B
  • From the Start menu, select Control Panel.
  • In the Control Panel, find and double click the icon for the 'QuickTime'.
  • From the top drop-down menu in the QuickTime control panel, select 'Streaming Transport'
  • Change the radio button selection to 'Use this Protocol an Port ID', and verify that the subsequent selection is 'Use HTTP Port: 80'.
  • Select 'OK'

Additional Help

If you are still having trouble viewing QuickTime video after executing the above step, please emailccnmtl@columbia.edu. Please include your Windows system version, your QuickTime version, and the CCNMTL application that you are using.

Apple iTunes Store not loading Fix:

This is an issue that has come up with many home users that for some unforeseen reason iTunes store will not load anymore on their home computer. There is a fix for this it takes roughly 5 minutes and does the trick.

There is an issue with the winsock entries and it needs to be properly reset.

Repair & Reset Winsock Catalog in Windows 7

Winsock entries tells Windows 7 how to access your network services. Additionally, your TCP/IP protocol can be corrupted. The TCP/IP protocol is a stack of 4 layers that includes several transport layers, but when this stack is corrupt you will constantly have connectivity issues.

Go to start, then type in 'cmd' and right click the Command Prompt to run as Administrator.

type in each string of these commands and restart your computer twice. Once restarted your iTunes Store will work.

netsh winsock reset catalog
netsh int ip reset reset.log hit

Please spread the word on this as I have spent months trying to figure this one out for myself! Good Luck, and hopefully Apple can post this fix to the public and 1000's of iTunes users that are having this issue.

Cheers!

Apple is on the verge of repeating history

Too many unnecessary & monopoly restrictions

With its growing tantrums and seeking useless importance, with extreme complicated sync systems

I know thousands of people age 45-50 cancelled iPhone and bought Samsung S3 and Note

These age group are not comp savvy, n they need to catch hold of kids to sync any data/song/app/movie, where as in a Samsung they can get do it themselves. It’s just a USB / SD card

I DON'T KNOW THAT THEY DO NOT UNDERSTAND, IT'S THE CONSUMER WHO IS KING N NOT THE MANUFACTURER

SAMSUNG NOTE/s3 sold 2-3 times more than iPhone 5

It's high time APPLE learns

I have the blank screen phenomenon with iTunes 11; but under older versions - such as 10.4 - I can log into the iTunes store via iTunes but the screen formatting is jacked up - no graphical content. If I proceed to click on account paramters, like email address & such, I get the -1202 error. Running through this MSINFO32 check yields nothing out of the ordinary; I have 8 windows-only connection entities. The win sock reset doesn't provide remedy at all either. I've tried everything that exists in these forums for -1202 and -9808 errors with no success.

This is security certificate issue from what I can tell and Apple needs to provide remedy to those who have invested many dollars into purchases; hardware and content. The mere fact that graphical content doesn't display correctly within the iTunes Store panes is quite telling. Obviously Apple doesn't have the wherewithall to fix these Windows based problems.
