Yesterday, Feb 16, 2010, I tried to connect to iTunes store and it would load for a few seconds and then go completely blank. So I thought maybe it was time to give into the iTunes prompt and download the new version. 10.1.2 or whatever. Well now I cant connect tot he store at all, receiveing error message 3212--cannot connect to iTunes store unknown error occurred, saying to make sure my network connection is active (as it surely is because I can still access the internet just fine)). I have uninstalled mcafee security center--didnt help. I even tried disabling my windows firewall completely--didnt help. Same message --3212 and all that. What do I do? I use the iTunes store two or three times a day as Im a very big music lover, but I am quickly losing my patients. I have not been able to connect for over 24 hours now. Can someone please help me?
Hi Mate did you have any luck, I have been trying all afternoon my store will not connect I need to re store my phone as my battery playing silly beggar and can't due to the store not transferring my phone purchases. please post if there is any info I have changed me password 3 times thinking it might be me.
I'm having the same problem...I tried uninstalling iTunes and then reinstalling and I still have that message coming up from the iTunes Store...has anyone resolved it yet???
I have had the same problems for a few weeks now!...Is anyone going to solve this problem for Itunes users?!...all we want to do is buy music, and they have to be losing money from not solving this problem if it is truly effecting this many users! Seriously please fix this and give us an answer Apple.
I've been trying for days to download and my screen does the same thing. I access store for a second and screen goes blank. I just tried it again. Wonder why in the world Apple isn't fixing this? I'm getting ready to head to Amazon.
It seems as though there are a lot of us with the same problem, but nothing is getting done to correct the issue. Mabe Apple doesn't want us to purchase anything from them any more!!
I've had this whole "Connectivity Time Out" Issue since about the 29th of January and I've all but given up on finding a solution to it. But i've done everything on their oh so fancy 'troubleshooting' page and none of it solved it at all. If someone actually finds a solution...Let me know.
Same problem as everyone else it seems. Store display shows up for a second than disappears, just my side bar information on the left remains. Fugg this is frustrating... I've been wanting to buy new music for 2 weeks to no avail. Apple are you out there???
