i'm having exactly the same issue and have been for over a week now.
The itunes store starts to load but then the screen goes blank and I can't access anything except my account details.
I;m so frustrated, the e-mail support team are no help whatsoever. Each time I contact them, they direct me to the discussion board, and suggest it's my ISP or my computer. The other option provided is to upgrade to version 10 which i don't want to do as I've heard about loads of issue with it.
It isn't my ISP as i can access other internet sites with no problem. I can see from these discussion pages that other people are experiencing the same issue but it seems like Apple aren't willing to do anything about it other than direct us to useless support pages which have no effect. At the end of the day, Apple are losing out as I can't purchase anything but no one seems to care enough about my custom to provide a resolution that doesn't blame my pc, ISP or request that I upgrade my version of itunes. It's obvious from discussions that a lot of other people are having the same problem so I suggest something is definitely wrong with the itunes store Please somebody help us before i give up and start to use another site to download music instead!!
