Which Flash Player for OS 10.4.11?

Hi;

I've been searching the discussions about which version of Adobe Flash Player I need to install. I was directed to the Adobe support site, but there seems to be no clear guide as to exactly which version will work with my system configuration. So I downloaded a number of versions of both 9 and 10.

Which one is right for me?

Thanks!

Warren T.

HELP!!!! I tried all of the above and have no luck at all!

1. I uninstalled the flash player using the Adobe uninstall_flash_player_osx_10.4.dmg

2. I then down loaded Shockwave_Installer_Slim.dmg and installed it (Nothing no FLASH on my Safari)

3. I then down loaded flashplayer10_1r102_64_mac_sa.app.zip from Adobe archived versions and again nothing.

The flash player shows up in my DOCK. but it won't work in any of my internet applications like Safari of Camino.

I even placed the Flash player into the Utilities Folder in my Applications and again nothing.

I restarted my Mac ten times or more trying everything I know and nothing!

Adobe tottly pulled the plug on all support of as well as information on their website and I'm a long time Adobe user... this is fricking nuts!

What am I dong wrong?

Thanks, Texas Mac Man is right on the money.

Download this http://www.steelbin.com/FPforFBPPC.zip to your desktop, unzip it, and replace the current Flash Player plug-in which is in your main/Library/Internet Plug-Ins folder, (not the user Library). Save the old one just in case this one doesn't work.[/quote]

Just make sure you place the Flash Player.plugin in both the main/Library/Internet Plug-Ins folder as well as the applications Utilities Folder.

Did it and works great.

Thanks Michael and Texas Mac Man 🙂
