MacBook Pro 2011 17" hard freeze
Just a little disillusioned and concerned, wondering if anyone else there has experienced a hard freeze like this.

you are absolutely correct, I couldn't agree more.
This test was running on 2 chrome browsers, 1 on each monitor.
And yes its a 13 i5 MBP

Complaining does no good. People need to sue. You need to take money away from companies like Apple because $$$ is all they understand.
For what its worth, crome does freeze and lag on my pcs. So I would try a different browser. Firefox is still good. http://download.cnet.com/Mozilla-Firefox/3000-2356_4-10208569.html
You can't fix hardware issues related to design and/or it being phsyically defective with software alone.
Me too I have the the same exact computer and the same exact things happening i bought it at bestbuy so can i still bring it to a local apple store?
Personally, I would fix it myself because I know Apple aint going to redesign the cooling system on the 2011 Mbps.
i ran a test i was using it normaly today and the cpu usage was at 100% and i as only browsing internet and i tunes open
Purge Flash off your mac and notice CPU levels drop.
what does that mean?

Are warranty limitations different in Europe? My understanding is in the USA we only have 14 days to do a return. At least, that's what others on here are saying.
