MacBook Pro 2011 17" hard freeze

ok.. update.. i´m back from the Apple Store with a new logic board (What a wonder?! 🙂)

For now everything works fine.. but ive tested it only for 2 days... i´ll give an update after a week or so.

Well, that test of the new 8GB RAM from Crucial lasted all of 5 minutes. The RAM caused a Kernel Panic.

OK - that's my next step.

All I can say is Crikey! Kingston RAM is twice the price of Crucial RAM.

Not easy to find in the UK though.

They ship internationally, and are often still cheaper than the local suppliers.

My macbook pro still having freezes on automatic graphic switch.

Here to, when i switch on again Automatic Graphic Switching my macbook hangs when quiting applications!

My Automatic Graphic Switching problem is resolved.

I got a Logic Board replacement and now it works like a charm!

It freezed again!

I bought a new battery and the problem is solved.

Received a brand new mac today, installed everything works perfectly, no freezes nothing.

Like cars have faults a Mac can have one to, they solved this perfectly for me, I am happy

I answer to myself. I've just received a call from the Apple Store...

They're changing my SSD.... I don't believe this solves the problem....

This I do not know, let them first do what they propose, if the problem continues I would try to get it replaced.

They don't know you didn't use it for two monthes.

After more than 8 visits to to Apple care, and 2 mother board changes and twice HDD check and formatting, my Mac book pro seems to wrk fine, i hope it runs well longer.
