Thank you.
Macbook Air 11.6" 4GB, Mac OS X (10.6.6)
Macbook Air 11.6" 4GB, Mac OS X (10.6.6)
Deleting Boomdevice.kext and restarting did the trick for me
its gone, well done and thanks, no more boom
Thank you....
I tried the command sudo kextunload -b com.globaldelight.driver.Boom2Device several times but then it would pop up again after reboot.
The uninstalling it after installation for 2nd time did the trick.
Re-installed Boom 2 and used the uninstall feature in the app. Now it's gone!
Thanks!!! Finally something that worked
This was so useful.. Thanks!
cheers man, copied and pasted those commands, the boom 2 devices are now gone. awesome
Thanks, finally got rid of the boomy as **** sound...
It appears latest boom installations changes the name of the file. I was able to remove it by doing:
cd Library
rm Preferences/com.globaldelight.Boom2.plist
rm Preferences/com.globaldelight.Boom2Daemon.plist
I hope this helps
Thanks m'man :-)
Boom is truly a horrible piece of crap.
This is the only thing that worked for me:

Thank you SO much....Boom *****!
I've been offered a Boom upgrade. To install, I need to quit Boom. Thoughts on how to do this? Thanks.
You might want to consider starting a new discussion. Since this one is marked solved and is a couple of years old, less people are likely to look at it. A new post would be much more visible. You can link to this one.
