How to Remove an Audio Device

I installed 'Boom' on my 11" MBA to increase the volume on low level sources. It worked, but used an unacceptably large amount of CPU. I uninstalled it in the usual way, however I am left with an audio device called 'Boomdevice' (visible in the Audio MIDI setup utility). This doesn't seem to be affecting anything, but I would like to get rid of it. Does anyone know how?

Thank you.
