Uhhh... no, not unless Apple sold Logic to another company and said company was willing to update the Logic 5.5.1 code.
BTW, Logic 5.5.1 still a very adequate DAW when run on an older PC (Win XP w/up to 1.5GB RAM) Don't know if it would run on Win-7
Calm it down people. I am waiting for Logic 10 like most. Nonetheless, I am still usig Logic 8 pro and it's still a fantastic tool. I would be more concerned mastering your on tools before wishing for an upgrade. I have used logic for 6 years ( I started on Logic 7) I am still to this day finding new techniques with 8. Though I would like to get Logic 9, I am holding out for 10. Though technology gets more advanced and has better features, the technology is only as good as the user.
LOGIC *** RIGHT NOW....RANDOM PANNING, FADER JUMPING, COMPLETELY UNSTABLE ON A NEW MAC PRO RUNNING 64 BIT LION??? *** APPLE WE ARE PROFESSIONALS NOT MOBILE USERS.
Is 'random panning, fader jumping' etc. a common issue for other Logic 9 users?
Could that behavior a result of automation fighting with imported MIDI CC data that needs to be removed from the Events list?
