FCP on 2011 Macbook Pro 13"

Was thinking of picking up the entry level 2011 Macbook Pro 13inch. Has anyone tried running Final Cut Pro on it?
I know the system requirements say it needs a dedicated graphics card, but Im hoping that it will still install and work with the new Intel HD3000.
Any info regarding this would be helpful.

And here is Color running, I dont have any footage to test out the performance, but it seems to load fine. Only thing is that its very hard to read the text on the 13in screen. So an external might be better, that is if it even runs smoothly:

I'm using a 15" and find Color barely usable the way the tab overlap and are unreadable in places. Small increments are unmanageable. The color display is not accurate, which again kind of defeats the whole point of Color.

So assuming you have an external display, Color should work fine?

Also, Tom, my previous post wasn't supposed to come across as accusatory or rude; I was just asking for a firsthand experience.

The MXO series does not work on the new MacBookPros unless they have an Expresscard slot.

Running color on a computer that DOES NOT SUPPORT EXTERNAL VIDEO MONITORS is a waste of time. You have no idea of how the image really appears. It's like people opening up a stock trading program that is not connected to a broker or the market. It is just screwing around without knowing the outcome.

Just because the program opens and you can "sort of " see the interface in no way makes the program useful.

Sheesh.

I really think the only MBP that makes real sense - if it's to be a main edit station is the 17"... man I love my new one. SSD startup disks rule.

15" is OK if TBolt is going to be supported well, but not for today I'd think.

A 13" machine for Studio? I'd not recommend it...
