Home Sharing drop out with Apple TV2

Just did the updates for i-tunes (10.2.1), ATV2 (4.2), and Ipad (4.3). And what I'm getting is when I stream from the computer using the ipad remote app, music starts then just stops. I go to ATV settings and turn airplay off then back on, then the music start again. Then goes out again. But if I just use the ATV, music, photos, YouTube, movies, etc.. everything works fine. It just when I stream. ATV show strong WI-FI signal. Never had any issues until I did the updates. Tried rebooting ATV, did a restart on the computer. NO GO. I'm thinking it's a home sharing issue but I don't really know. Has anyone else having any problems since the new updates? Or any ideas on what I should try. Any help would be great...
Thanks

I have buy an appleTv before christmas. it works well a long time. I have update with the last version.
now the home sharing is lost after a time. the new version don t browse well the network. the interface lost the connexion.
i thinck the problem is a bug of the gestion of connectivity betweteen server and clients.
the port must be close by the appleTv after a certain of inactivity or congestion of the interface network.
I have notes that I have sometimes difficulty to connect to iTunes store.
Apple have reduce the value session of the connect. or the server was on surcharge. and home sharing is control by the appleStore.
we has just to hope that apple resolve the bug.
if you modify tour libary, you lost the view of tour libairy sharing
the home sharing betweteen Computers work well.
The unique solution was the reboot in force my appleTv

I don't think it has anything to to with VirusBarrier - VB5 or 6.

I am running VB6. I thought I had my eureka moment when I found that ATV2 was flooding VB6, so I placed it in the trusted addresses area. ATV2 then worked, BUT ONLY for a short time ... now I am back to the same old problem ... ATV2 plays for about 1.5 hours and then drops because it can't find the library, or tells me there is no content the library ... just like before ATV2 was in the VB6 trusted addresses. One this dropping starts, it can occur every few minutes (which is very annoying to reset that often) or it mysteriously stops, but only for a while and then it starts again.

I am using my AppleTV wireless-ly and experience the random "shared library not found" scenario. If the connection is established, I can stream my TV shows reliably. But if the Mac goes to sleep, it seems to then affect the "SHARED" library state. I'm trying to determine the procedures necessary to re-establish the connection.

This obviously is very disheartening. When it works, it works great. But having to constantly run downstairs and run upstairs to see if the library is viewable - well, it can get you pretty ****** off.

My one ATV2 was able to successfully stream 4 movies from my library via Home Sharing. This was the one that would randomly disconnect the most. My other ATV2 that never had issues before the 4.2 update now cannot go more than 5-10 minutes without dropping out and then reconnecting. They are both set up exactly the SAME... No differences between the two. This has to be an issue with the software. Is anyone else with more than one seeing one of their ATVs acting normal and one randomly dropping? I still have to get up to my brothers room and see if his is randomly dropping or not.

Same issue.

I see my iTunes library but it appears empty. Cycle home sharing off and on and everything reappears. I've had the Apple TV working perfectly since December 2010 but it just started flaking out.

Yesterday I have my Home Sharing drop out
I have drop all home sharing for all computer and IOS ( iphone, ipad, appleTv)
I reset my password for the itunes Store
I put Home Sharing for my devices with the new password
I reset my router wifi
I suppose when you have a mew version, password must be reset different.
The problem is the router wifi lost the communication with wireless computer
Today All home sharing run well

yesterday my appleTv and iOS devises run well during 8 hours.
today, all is broken. the network interface shown down. the solution is a correction wifi ou iTunes.
the routage don't locate the computer. i seem like a broken pipe. too heavy traffic. I have test to reduce the fragmentation of the libary. the menu CAN organise the files of tour libary. the directory and the files as like iTunes like i have nô problem to sharing betweteen computer.
you have to the two option i have select the second option because my libary is on server redhat by share samba with selinux unforcing.
I have note that the setting of network interface was very instable. I was reset all IOS because my iPad lost home sharing also.
I hope that support apple work to a correction with a new version.
i thinck that it s a bug not a problem of configuration
I can litent music but for how Time ?

There is definitely something wrong with the update.

My setup:

iMac OS X 10.6.6

iTunes 10.2.1(1)

iPhone 4 4.3.1 (8G4), Remote app on this phone was working fine with ATV's until I upgraded it to 4.3.1 today. Now it can not find the home share library or the ATV's.

iPad 2 32GB Verizon 4.3.1 (8G4), Just upgraded to 4.3.1, not seeing home share library at all.

ATV2 OS 4.3 (8F202), Software 4.2.1, Was working until the last update, now don't see home share library at all.

ATV2 OS 4.2.1 (8C154), Software 4.1.1, This one I did NOT get the update, works fine with no issues at all.

I have tried to turn Home Share On/Off, turn ATV's/iPhone/iPad On/Off and reset Home Sharing. Nothing works. Even created a new home share on a Win 7 machine, it shows up on the un-updated ATV but not on the others.

I think it is pretty telling that the ATV without update works fine were all updated devices stopped working.

Apply please fix!! User uploaded file
