XCode installation does not finish

Hello everybody,

I'm installing xcode downloaded from appstore. The installation starts, reaches about 95% and with the message "installing files" stops - i.e. hours are passing (already 2) and the status bar is still at the same position, nothing happens. I can close the installation, when restarted it starts from the beginning and story repeats.
Does anyone have idea what's going on? Any help appreciated.

best regards
VooVeek

Ahhh, and I thought it was me or my macbook... it was just dismissing the whole idea of using xcode 4.

Bought XCode 4 in the german App Store, if it helps the statistics...
Installation stalled and I stopped the process (and had another one taking 100% cpu when starting xcode afterwards).

After restarting the macbook I can now start xcode, but I can't build and run a project. not even a new empty cocoa application. I'm asked for login and password of a user in the 'Developer Tools' group. But I am already in the developer tools group! I even checked with the workgroup manager (server admin tool). The only workaround is giving my user admin privileges, which of course I don't want to.

I hope we get a new installation package from the app store, when this problem is fixed. But I fear Apple will take it's time before acknowledging this as a bug.
