Update Problem iPhone 4 to ios 4.3

I was today trying to update my iphone 4. Unfortunately without succcess ;-(

After the update completed (well, nearly) i got the error 1013 update failed and iphone had to be restored. Unfortunately the restore also fails (numerous times). I am now trying to download the ios via another computer and it is going to take 4 hours to download! My internet speed on downlink is 16000! anyone else experiencing similar issues? I Have never had any problems before..

After I updated to IOS 4.2 some of my "favorites" in my contacts would not dial. I tried resetting the phone but it still didn't work. My wifes iphone worked fine. After I upgraded to 4.3, that feature started working again but whenever I'm on WIFI I tend to have poor phone reception/dropped calls even though I'm sitting next to my wifi router. I switch wifi off and use 3G and I have no problem with reception/dropped calls. Again, my wifes iphone, still with 4.2, works fine. (Makes me think AT&T doesn't want me making calls using wifi?)

I just realised that this update is 666MB, can that be right? It's taking ages as well due to the massive ammount of data 😟

Struggling to find a relevant post so I'll just reply to this one.

Got my iPhone 4 from Verizon a couple months ago. Been updating system software okay, until yesterday.

Currently have 4.2.10 and was trying to download an app that, when I tried installing, said my system software was incompatible and that I needed 4.3.

So I sync up w/ my iTunes on my Macbook Pro, and click "update software" or whatever, and it tells me I'm up-to-date and that 4.2.10 is the most current version.

No error messages and posters above have already stated, it just says I'm already updated.

I updated my OS on my Macbook Pro and my iTunes, and my iPhone iOS still doesn't update to 4.3. What's up with that?!?!
