ATV2.2 Updated Now No Audio

I updated last night and now I have no audio. I have the movement clicks of the remote but the audio to content of Netflix, Youtube and movie previews have no audio. On occasion there is a very brief burp of audio, but nothing that lasts more than a half second.

I have adjusted the Dolby audio setting to each setting and tried again to no avail. I have unplugged and plugged in the Apple TV2 hoping that it would reset the glitch with no result. HELP!

The New Update is ready 4.2.2 for Apple TV 2G but not work for me, I dont have audio again, and after two months.-

Im back to the old firmware 4.1.1 (8C 154) and the audio is back again.-

4.2.2 finally fixed my audio issue. I can now connect my ATV2 directly to my A/V receiver by optical and the sound has returned!

I have had no issues with playback until yesterday and an update to the 4.2.2(2203) version of the software. Now movies I have bought and/or rented from the itunes store will no longer play audio. I have volume in itunes itself but none from the ATV2 (have isolated the issue to the ATV2 unit rather than the stereo / 5.1 speakers).

Regular content + Netflix + Youtube all work well, including all other content re-formated by Handbrakes latest version.

Is there a way to roll back the update?

Just applied the latest update yesterday, all audio is working for me now, all multi channel sounds etc. so there should be no problems at least until the next update.

So I did a full restore on my unit and now the audio problem has been fixed and we are all good!
