4.3 SMS Tones - Choo Choo

I love my iPhone 4 but I cannot understand why my favourite sms tone 'choo choo' has been changed by IOS 4.3. Actual functionality has been withdrawn and I'm really annoyed about it. I accept it's only a small change but surely a software update should add functionality, not take it away. I'm a passionate supported of all Apple products, but this change absolutely stinks and I'm furious about it.

I called Apple Support today and asked how I can flash my iPhone back to 4.2.1. She said by holding down the control key and select "Restore from Backup" FYI..This doesn't flash the phone back to a prior iOS 4.2.1. (This is an incorrect procedure for taking your iphone back to a previous iOS version.

I wanted to go back to my previous iOS to get my Choo Choo sound back.
I hope that this is a bug and that Apple will fix it on the next update and make it like it sounded on 4.2.1.

Nope, you're correct. Everyone whined and complained when the new text tones were released.

And now people are whining that they were shortened. Especially that stup1d little train. Get off the train and on with your life.

Can't believe they changed the ONLY decent text tone to be so short. Yet they leave the other silly tones such as Minuet, Anticipate and Update long.

I thought there was something wrong with my phone when the one 'Choo' happened. I am really annoyed at Apple for changing this.

Can't wait to change away from Apple for good. iOS is a joke. Apple used to be innovative. iOS is a stale, uncustomisable old operating system. Apple needs a big shakeup or it will be bye bye.

After four generations of iPhone, you still can't end a phone call if you get a push notification or text message without first dismissing the popup. They would do better to make the phone work like a phone rather than reducing the length of random SMS tones.

Sure you can. Just press the Sleep/Wake button (even with the popup still displayed on top of the call options) and you will see the red End Call button rapidly flash beneath any notification you may already have on the screen. The call is then terminated.
