Dead spot on space bar

I am wondering if any one else has noticed a dead spot on the bottom right corner of the space bar on the macbook air. I can fully depress the space bar repeatedly where my thumb likes to hover over it, and the cursor does not move. Admittedly it is a very small dead spot, but since I write all day long, it is becoming increasingly annoying. Is this just something I am going to have to live with?

Have the same issue, Mac Air is 1 week old, thought I was going mad... but nope....

Anybody know, if Apple have a keyboard fix and is it worth heading back to apple to have it changed out?

They rang me today and booked me in to Genius Bar this Saturday. As its only 3 weeks old they may replace it rather than send it off to get fixed. Will keep you updated. Thanks for your help.

Received today from the warranty with the problem solved.

Top case switched and now the space works perfectly. 🙂

i get the same issue in macbook air mid 2013. did any of you got the solution?, my right most side of the space bar is totally numb, i had to press it very hard to make it work.
