Prepared for shipment!

Not just wi-fi, my White 16 GB Verizon 3G was shipped yesterday, estimated delivery on March 17th before 4:30 pm central time.

WooHoo woke up this morning and my 16 GB wifi ipad2 has been shipped and will have it by Thursday
Hopefully everybody else will get theirs soon

Hmmm...my order is for the 32GB 3G version and Apple's acknowledgement shows 12:40PST as the time of order. Wonder when my turn will come.

I ordered mine on *Mar 11, 2011 at 01:11 AM PDT* and it still says "Not yet shipped" on the order status.

I agree. I ordered a 16gb wifi+3g AT&T version day one at 4:04 am est with 3-5 days shipping (march 18-25 delivery). My status still reads not yet shipped. I am seeing that a lot of the shipments are, it seems, for all wifis and Verizon 3G models. Any AT&T 3G shipments yet?

Ordered my 16 GM black AT&T engraved at 3:52 AM March 11. Switched to Prepared for Shipment this evening. Delivery date of 3/18-25 is still the same.

Your model matches mine and my order is ahead of yours by 12 min! Anyway, looks like Apple assumed (maybe rightly so), the 32GB + 3G and 64GB + 3G will not be in big demand as the price keeps going up with each option step. And they didn't build enough of those. I hope they actually get it to us by the estimated date range.

I found a number of "news" sites that said the greatest percentage of models produced were ATT, with Verizon next and wifi only the least at 17 %. I now find those reports hard to believe.

64GB black wifi only ordered at 12:53 PST on 3/11 -- prepared for shipment on 3/12 and shipped on 3/13. LOL, it's still in China but with an estimated delivery date of 3/17. I'm a little skeptical since it's going to have to travel halfway across the US to reach me, but stranger things have happened.

My wife's macbook air shipped from Shanghai on 9th Mar, reached Memphis on 9th (as you gain a day) and then it was delivered home here in west coast on the morning of 11th. Fedex has its own airplanes and guess well documented items clears customs quickly.

The engraving will delay your order as it will take special processing
