iOS 4.3 airplay drop outs

Since updating to 4.3, the ipod app on my iPhone 4 can no longer maintain a constant airplay connection to my airport express. It plays for a few minutes, drops out and eventually loses the connection completely -- the airplay symbol disappears for a moment, then reappears but the music is then paused and the connection is reset to play through the phone. Same thing happens with Rhapsody. I have no problem using airplay from my iMac, and this never happened before the update. Anyone having a similar problem? Any suggestions?

iPad 2 on Airport express...I too have noticed both Bluetooth and wifi on at the same time increases dropouts. iOS 5.x at this point. I use Bluetooth all the time for keyboard and headphones. Very frustrating they can't fix it.

I too experienced this frustration of dropouts since I brought APPLE TV few days back. I tend to get disappointed especially when products do not operate on their key features, do not deliver what they are supposed/promised to deliver - in this case APPLE TV. Finally, I tried turning on Air Plane mode on my iphone. This seemed to resolve the issue for now. I understand this is not the best solution, but it is working - no dropouts for the last 2 hours. As I understand, this issue caused by the wireless signals interference. FYI, my phone service provider is AT&T.

Instead of turning on Airplane mode and turning wi-fi back on, you can also just turn Bluetooth off (i.e. don't enter Airplane mode at all, just turn Bluetooth off for AirPlay). This is one less step, and some people never use Bluetooth.

I too have found that dropouts disappear if I turn OFF bluetooth on my iPad. Which is a PAIN, since I use a ZaggFolio with the bluetooth keyboard. I wish Apple would fix this...they HAVE to know about it.
