iPad 2 Shipping

My order status says "Shipping soon" Any idea what that means? It's been saying that since Friday.

I'm in the same boat, only my 32GB AT&T iPad 2 is white. Still no movement. My Smart Cover is projected to be here on the 18th. (Location: Central PA)Ordered at 1:17 am PST on 3/11.

I have the same Black Ipad 2 64gb 3g/ wi-fi on order. No change in shipping status, so I called Apple customer service. Apple's customer service stated that the first day of the 3 to 5 days is Monday not Friday. I thought that was messed up since I ordered my IPAD 2 at 4:20 am eastern time. It is getting annoying that their is no further updates on my order other then " Has not Shipped Yet". At this point I think we are headed for March 25th delivery. Not happy at all since I sold my old Ipad on ebay and use the Ipad for work.

Technically 3-5 BUSINESS days. (doesnt include weekends)
Figuring that doesnt include day of order so...

Wed (3/16) being the 3rd business day. Fri the 3/18 is the 5th Business day since the 11th.

So we wait faithfully and hope that by this fri Apple will completely ship all the 3-5 promises.

I would have assumed that ordering at 4 am EST would then include that day as a business day. That would mean tomorrow is the 5th day.

I just called and asked about that, and they said that was not true? Tomorrow (3/17)is the last day in the ships in 3-5 days window. Apple better live up to there promises...

I have called multiple times today. Today is technically the '3rd business day'. They do not count Saturday and Sunday, and I guess not Friday either. Today is the 3rd day, and Friday would be the 5th. Very weird how they do this.

And it is now shipping. For those interesting in timing...

pvonk, order #, if you are willing to share that, please? It will not do anything to your order as it is already shipped. And I don't want to accelerate mine either. I just want to bring "real" data to Apple's fulfillment team to show that they are really not fair to first-in-first-out ordering process within the same model.

Pink Smart Cover shipped from TN Friday and arrived yesterday. No activity on iPad whatsoever. Had an Apple Store gift card to use (and closest store 2 hours away), so had no real choice other than to order online. Wondering if I should have taken a half day off work and gone out of town now instead.

Would really love to hear something official from Apple or AT&T as to why it appears that only the AT&T ones are getting completely skipped over.

Any updates on your end? We seem to be part of the same shipment (at least until Memphis). It has almost been 12 hours was hoping for more info on local arrival and delivery?

Friday morning at 1am PST it is 4pm Friday in china. End of business day before order was made. The weekends do not count. Now on Sunday evening at 3 pm it was Monday morning 6am Monday morning in China.

I am starting to get extremely antsy... My order for a white 16g AT&T model went through at 1:01 am PST, and said will ship in 3-5 business days. But today, it still says Not Yet Shipped. My covers were delivered yesterday. Why the randomness in shipping Apple??? Tomorrow is the 5th business day, and if it hasn't shipped then, I am going to be very upset....
