iPad 2 Shipping

as stated before.. Friday the 18th is technically the 5th business day. Apple didn't count last Friday.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat. 16GB ATT White not yet shipped and cover delivered yesterday.

(I've already posted twice on this thread, so if someone is keeping track of the not yet shipped iPads and their versions, remember to count me once)

I'm not normally one to compain, and I realise it is within the time alloted, but it is so frustrating seeing other people post on here that they have recieved their's, who ordered after me, and mine hasn't even shipped yet.

I'm in the same boat here. I ordered a Black 32GB AT&T 3G model at 1:11 a.m. on March 11th. My status as of right now is still "not yet shipped". I received my smart cover yesterday.

In the past, Apple shipped my items almost immediately. I'm extremely disappointed in the delay. I was hoping to have it by Friday, as I had it shipped to an address that I will not be at for long. Is expedited shipping even available for the iPads? Maybe I can bump up my shipping and it'll still get here when it finally ships.

I ordered a 32G Black wifi/3g ATT at 3:00am pst, and received a 5-7 day ship notice. I have not seen anyone in this forum with this estimated shipping time. Has anyone seen any movement in this group yet? Just curious, thanks.

My shipping timeframe was 3-5 days as well. Mine is still waiting to be shipped.

What if the problem is AT&T holding their versions? Why? It may not be under Apple's control at this point.
I heard a rumor the AT&T iPad 2's were already in the U.S. Awaiting release for shipment. AT&T holding them?

Was psyched this morning when my iPad 2 (white wifi 32gb) arrived just before 3am at the Memphis Fed Ex hub and then indicated "in transit" shortly thereafter. I thought maybe it would arrive today in Boston as I have heard that once it gets to the hub, the process has been pretty quick. Also Apple's original email shipment confirmation indicated it would "deliver by Mar 16".
Well...for some reason even though it indicated "in transit" in the wee hours of the morning, it did not depart Memphis until 5:11 PM! Heck, it spent less time traveling from Alaska to Memphis (9 hours) than it did in Memphis all day today (13 hours).
I had to order online as I am not physically able to get to the stores, and I have always found online ordering (and pre-ordering) to run very smoothly and get the product out fast. Very excited because it takes a lot for me to save $600 and I had to skip iPad first time around.
This whole roll out online has been very poorly executed. Is this what Apple is going to be like without Steve Jobs at the helm day to day? Also concerned about the number of defective units being reported- I get a feeling they rushed this release before ready to take some steam out of the Motorola Xoom release.
Hoping for delivery tomorrow but not holding my breath anymore. I know a lot of you are in worse situation than me, I was lucky and woke up early on the 11th and got my order in at 12:47 am Apple time (3:47 here)

I have two orders - 12:40AM PDT and 12:42AM PDT. Just now the later one changed to "Prepared for Shipment". Extremely random! I can see that within my own order. Both are identical 32GB 3G AT&T black.

My 32GB AT&T 3G iPad just NOW changed to "prepared for shipment". Looks like they might finally be going out. Just in time for a next week delivery. LOL. Thanks for nothing, Apple.

I ordered mine at 4am est launch day. It was scheduled for March 17th delivery, but it showed up today on the 16th! Working great, screen looks perfect.Black 64GB WiFi.

Mine said the same thing arrived Memphis 1:10 am and then indicated IN TRANSIT at 3:43 am, finally got an update 5:11PM that it "Departed Fedex Location" in Memphis. What did they do with it all day? it spent less time traveling from Alaska to Memphis than it did "in transit" IN Memphis today!!! It only took 9 hours from AK to Memphis, but it spent 16 hours in Memphis today what's up with that???
