iPad 2 Shipping

Ordered mine on May 9th. Original ship date was May 23 to be delivered on the 27th. Planning on taking it on a two month trip abroad in which I leave on May 31st. Of course I check it every day to see if anything changes. Low and behold the delivery date gets pushed back to of all days... May 31. That ain't happening. Called Apple up to see if I could get faster shipping. They upgraded to priority shipping. Ship date still says May 23 to be delivered May 31. God I hope I get this thing before I leave. That's the reason I bought the darn thing.... to take on my trip. Something else to stress about. Any suggestions?

I ordered my black 32GB wireless on May 9. Original ship May 23, deliver May 27. Now it says deliver May 25. Is now in EPZ China as of May 19.

And now I have a departure scan in CHEK LAP KOK, HK. I was holding out hope for delivery today, which was the original date given to me by Apple when I ordered on May 4th, but since I haven't yet seen a scan in the states, it's a very slim sliver of hope. Guessing it'll be Monday at the earliest.

my ipad is supposed to ship today. it still hasnt shipped...does anybody know what time of day these devices usually ship? cause for some reason, with the luck i have had so far, i wouldnt be surprised if it doesnt ship today

Ordered my iPad on the 7th of May, original delivery date 27th May.

Prepared for shipment on 18th of May and delivery date moved up to the 24th May.

FedEx - in transit to Lantau Is, HK.

Hope thats the last stop before entering the US.

I think mine may be with yours. Currently, in route to Kentucky. When I originally tracked, it said delivery date of May 23. Now there is no date at the top. I'm hoping for Monday!!

I'm in the exact same boat as you. When my iPad2 shipped out originally, the delivery date was listed as 5/23. Then it dissapeared, and for a second, it looked like there might be a chance of it getting to California in time for delivery today. Guess not.

This is going to be a LONG weekend. 😐 Oh well. 🙂

Does this mean the next stop is Louisville for sure? Or is it going to "depart" from yet another part of China?

Sigh... If only we had Saturday delivery we could have it tomorrow. I guess Monday will have to do. I have my case, screen protectors, and new man-bag all ready for it on the coffee table for when it arrives.

Does anyone know how the fed ex flights work. I think they go to memphis. Does this mean it is on its way to Memphis or in transit to Chek Lap KoK HK?
