iPad 2 Shipping

Hi,

Can you tell me when you ordered your ipad? I ordered mine on the 10th of June and due to ship on the 24th of June. The status still says Not Shipped yet. I am just being impatient!

I think there is a descent chance you may get it on time. I ordered mine on 4 June. It got shipped on 13th and the original delivery date was set to 28th June! Then I got a text from apple that the items may be delivered to me on/by 23rd June. I am in the same boat with you here as I am leaving on 27 June and if it doesn't arrive by then, I am screwed 🙂

My ipad has shipped! Ordered on June 8th, Prepared for shipment on June 16th, Shipped via UPS on June 17th, UPS delivery date of June 20th! Ill have it monday! (not fedex, so the 1030am thing still exists, but i have never known UPS to deliver by then)

I ordered mine on June 8th also. Delivery was originally scheduled on June 28th, which was fine by me as long as it got here before my vacation the week after. Just yesterday my delivery date got moved to July 1st... I was like WTH??? I called Apple, told the guy what happened and he moved my date to June 27th delivery. To my surprise and delight, my order was shipped today and now has a delivery time of June 21st!!! Yay!!! A week before my original date!!!

My status went from Not yet Shipped to prepared for shipment briefly yesterday afternoon and this morning it is back to Not Yet Shipped. Anybody have this experience?

So close! If only they would deliver it on a Saturday...

Hey! I am happy to report that the iPad I ordered June 8th shipped out on Friday, June 17th!

How do you know which day it will arrive? o_o

My IPAD2 Shipped on 19th June. Original Delivery date 4th of July

Order update! I placed my order on June 15th and this morning the status changed to Prepare for shipment. I got an email about tracking number for UPS and my ipad is ready for shipping! The scheduled delivery date is Friday, June 24th! Its really fast, I'm very excited!

So heres my ipad update, it was shipped on the 17th, but was stuck (as usual it seems) in EPZ, China and the original delivery date disappeared, I spoke to UPS last night and they only told me it was in customs with no certain date when it would be released or delivered. I just spoke with Apple Technical Support, and they contacted UPS for me and found out it will be through customs today (i hope thats true), with a delivery date of this thursday, the 23rd, luckily if it delivers that day i will be able to be home to receive it. As I have seen on previous posts that had this same issue on this forum thread, the apple technical support person offered me free accessories, and i asked if i could get even just a discount on a new battery for my early 2008 macbook pro 15", they checked and were able to get me the battery and a camera connection kit for FREE! which in total is worth $150 dollars in free accessories. I know it doesnt make up for the delay, but it sure helps. I will update as it progresses.

@j1999t: I ordered my iPad 2 the same date as you (well actually, I ordered mine on the 7th in the evening). I was informed that it shipped last week in the 15th. As of right now, my iPad is STILL in China, I got an e-mail from UPS that there was an exception because there was a technical problem with a plane. I called UPS to see if I could get a delivery date so I can arrange to be home and all she could tell me was that once my iPad reached Louisville, KY it would arrive withing one business day. That was not very helpful, considering my iPad is still SITTING in HONG KONG! I know this isn't Apple's fault, so I didn't try to call them but do you think there's anything they can do from their end at this point? Maybe upgrade my shipping?

My ipad was shipped with TNT on the 19th and says Shipment in Transit, Hong Kong 19th June 2011 15:05:56 but no update since. TNT said it is scheduled for Delivery on Friday 24th, but the tracking facility on TNT is awful. I also live in a remote area and my experience with other couriers is that unless they have a vehicle i nthe area it can be 1-2 days longer.

Woo Hoo!! My iPad is on the truck for delivery today!!! 2 days early!
