iPad 2 Shipping

That's really odd it went to memphis....

I am in NorCal and it went from Anchorage to Oakland.

I got the order in at 103am on launch.

im hoping since its coming westbound, it might "slow down" time a little. i guess i'll just see it monday then. expected delivery says 22nd, but im wishing they can be like amazon and arrive ahead of schedule.

not getting it til said date of tuesday, the 22nd.

just got to sort facility as of 1234 local time in memphis.

My wife's Macbook Air was on Fedex International Economy Distribution (same as iPad) and it left Shanghai @11:19AM Shanghai time on 9th Mar and it reached my house in NorCal @ 11:24AM on 11th Mar. But, most of the time (nearly 32 hrs) was in Memphis clearing customs.

So, it is possible to get it tomorrow.

Wow, beyond rage right now. My iPad finally said it had shipped, and that I should check back later for more information. I just checked it, and it says "Package Received After FedEx Cutoff" and it's still in Shenzhen. The freaking people at Foxconn forgot to put my dang iPad on the truck! Come on, man! Now its going to be sitting there until the next plane, which seem to be leaving once a day. It was estimated to be here on the 23rd, and now they're saying 24th.

Received Prepared for Shipment yesterday afternoon 3/17.
Received tracking # this morning 3/18.
Delivery scheduled 3/23 in Louisiana.

For the Black iPad 2 64 GB 3G AT&T ordered at 1:53 AM Pacific, 4:53 AM Eastern on March 11 (three posts below) the status changed on 3/16 to "Prepared for Shipment". Status changed to "Shipped" about 12 hours later (yesterday morning). Package departed Shenzen yesterday morning and departed Lantau Island earlier this morning. Original delivery estimate with 3-5 day delivery was March 23-25. I called Apple after ordering but before shipment, and they changed my shipping method to 2-3 days, at no extra cost to me, so I'm hoping for delivery Tuesday.

My ipad is on the truck and out for delivery today March 18. I ordered it on March 11 at 4:09 a.m.

Mine must be hanging out with yours because it was in the same place same time. Hope theres something fun to do there since it seems like they sit there for a while.

Ordered a Black 32 GB Wifi only at 3:46AM on March 11th and got it engraved. It was originally scheduled to be delivered today but it's still in Anchorage, AK. I called FedEx and she said it's hasn't passed through customs yet 😟. Package is coming all the way to Florida so we'll see.

I am not sure why I got up at 1am pst (3cst) and placed my order. I would have been better off ordering through AT&T they shipped out on the next day to people. I figured that all would be good since in the Keynote, Steve seemed very excited about getting the rollout and that things would get where they needed to go soon.. Much to my disgust, here we are 5 days in on a ships 3-5 days and my order still says "prepared for shipment" well its been that way for three days now.. I am VERY dissapointed in the way Apple has handled this launch. I guess 2011 is the Year of slow shipping!

Mine is out for delivery too 🙂

I was a late order, 1 pm EST launch day and I was suprised to see my order made it to AK already

We have same model and in the same place. Guess you're lucky or I am unlucky I ordered mine six minutes after launch 😟
