iPad 2 Shipping

Still trawling the forum to see who has got a 32GB 3G AT&T version so far from online order. Have found one who has reported so far with the white version. I have two orders in for the Black version - 12:40AM and 12:42AM as per Apple order acknowledgement. I haven't come across anyone ahead in the queue from me for this model so far, but my status is still "Not Yet Shipped". Maybe I should go knock on Apple HQ (20 miles from my home).:)

I'm kind of concerned about mine not showing any movement ...I see others on here move right through once it leaves Shenzhen. Any ideas? It still shows delivery date of Friday, 3/18

I ordered my black 16GB engraved iPad 2 with Wi-Fi on March 11, 1:56 PST. However, I was reading over everyone else's posts, and I noticed that the rest of you guys that ordered an hour before me will have your iPads shipped 3 business days before mine. Right now, my iPad is in Lantau Island, Hong Kong. It is supposed to come on March 22, and I really hope that it might come two business days early so that I can use it over the weekend!

And in response to your question, ncsuboner, your iPad should go to Anchorage, Alaska after being in Hong Kong. Good luck on receiving your iPad!

Same model in black ordered a few minutes after you. Tuesday night my status changed to Prepared for Shipping.

I guess our ipads are on the same truck.............

Live near Sacramento, CA Ordered 64G 3G Att on 03/11...status shows it wont be delivered til 04/06...UGH

After reading this and other forums, I've seen almost no posts stating an AT&T model has been shipped. I ordered a 64gig Black AT&T at 3:03 central time on the 11th and have yet to see any status change. However, it still says ships in 3-5 business days, so at least that hasn't been pushed back ... Yet.

Hang in there guys. They get hung up in Hong Kong and Alaska for awhile but then start their move. Takes 9 hours from Alaska to Memphis hub

Does anyone know if it usually delivers quickly once it hits Memphis hub?
Apple indicates delivers by today but Fedex tracking says tomorrow. I am in Boston.

Good Luck everyone. Anticipation is so strong especially when I skipped first iPad and it took a lot of discipline to save $$$ for this one. For some $500-800 is still a heck of a sum of money.

piandchocolate, credit card is charged after it ships. In my case I ordered 11th, card was charged when it reached Alaska on the 14th. Still awaiting delivery today or tomorrow. Its at FedEx Memphis hub now.

I ordered the 64GB white AT&T ipad at 12:48 PST on 3/11. On Sunday night the status changed to prepared for shipment and it's still saying that as of 6:30 a.m. Weds. However, the Apple store near me is getting new stock this morning and so is Best Buy. Hey, Apple, how about sending some of those stock orders to the hundreds of thousands of customers who are stuck in a black shipping hole?

Soooo I'm patiently waiting.

A lot different in speed considering my iPhone4 arrived almost instantly day of issue.
I received the cover yesterday.
Has anyone else received this model ordered this early?

I'm a little annoyed reading these posts because I'm realizing that many people who ordered AFTER I did have already had their iPad shipped. I ordered at 3:56 am EST, White 64 GB Wireless only with green cover. Cover has already arrived but my shipping status of 3-5 days, March 18-25 is the only thing listed for the iPad. It hasn't been prepared for shipment, nothing.

I don't mind waiting if it's consistent but that is not looking like the case.
