iPad 2 Shipping

Has anyone that has had their iPad already ship seen it move from Lantau Island, HK? Nothing has changed as far as the ship date or the delivery date, it just has not moved in a day or so.

From being a silent watcher it seems that it is the 64GB ones that are taking the longest. I have a Black 64GB wifi and White 64 ATT ordered at 1:20EDT and they are both still showing Not Yet Shipped and 18-25th March

they are bumping people back to april so i guess i wont complain too much, but they need to come out with a better model for launches or wait until they have stockpiled a lot of units!

Actually, I am still waiting for my white 16GB ATT to ship, ordered it at 12:45 am PST on March 11.

Not sure what is going on, but lots of people that ordered later are having them ship already or have already received them. That kind of bugs me. If you order earlier you should get it quicker. Just saying.

@themovieguru: As of sometime this morning (3/16), my shipping status here on apple.com was updated to read "Prepared for Shipment." While I'm hopeful for a Friday delivery, my guess is that it's not likely to arrive until Monday.

I ordered my 32wifi on 3/11 at 3:40am pdt and I'm still "not shipped" 3 - 5 business days delivery 3/22 to 3/29. why?

Well you guys are lucky from what I am reading. I ordered mine at 9amEST on launch day. My cover came yesterday but shipping update on my Ipad now shows April 1st with a delivery of April 8th. That will be a month from the time I ordered it. Hardly FAST but definitely FREE. I would have paid shipping to get it here in a reasonable time but would NOT stand in line with 2000 people to have it right away. My neighbor got in line at 9am on the 11th and got her Ipad at 6:30pm. That's crazy.

Definitely agree with this (about the 64 GBs). Ordered Black 64GB Wi-Fi at 1:03 AM PDT 3/11 and still hasn't shipped. But FYI if you want, I called and paid a little extra to get it upgraded to next day shipping. Still being told same shipping window though with maybe a day sooner, but that would require it to ship today which doesn't look likely.

I don't think next day shipping is worth it. Once the iPad hits Alaska, it is one or two days away from your door, depending on where you are in the US.

FedEx just dropped mine off, after several interesting days of tracking updates. Totally psyched; I haven't even opened it yet, I just keep staring at the box. 🙂

Looks that way, whyonearth. Mine was ordered at 3:43 am ET, 16 GB black ATT/WiFi+3G, engraved. How about you? (just trying to see if there is any pattern to what is shipping when).
