iPhone 4 - ios 4.3 - Battery Drain

Hello all,
I've upgraded my iPhone4 to IOS 4.3.
After doing so, I've done a full charge (after it completely drained). I unplugged it at 10:00 AM today and by 16:00 the battery was down to 50% (with basically no usage during the day).
I have push, bluetooth, wi-fi, Hotspot, Location Service disabled. I also disabled Ping on iTunes, re-sync the phone and done the Restrictions > Disable Ping.
It is still draining a lot of battery as none of these above solved the problem.
What can I do? The phone is going to be 2 months old...

PC, Windows 7

I agree, we can turn off everything, hey, we can shut off the iPhone completely and only turn it on in emergencies, that would save a lot of battery power.

Shutting off 3G may work for most of the World, but for us in North America, in many places 3G is the cell sevice we get. No GSM.

Shutting off all of Wifi, B-t, etc is akin to buying a Lamborghini and then granny-driving it to save fuel.

Another factor to consider if your battery runs down fast: In poor signal coverage areas, that can happen even in the city if you work or spend much time in a metal structure building or a basement, the battery drains fast. From my experience, in a NO SERVICE area, my phone runs down to 30% in one day. Note that the same was the case with other smart and plain phones I had in the past. That is because the radio is using full power to stay in touch with the cell tower.

If you travel or work in a no-coverage area the best thing is to put the iPhone in airplane mode. Wifi and B-t can be then enabled separately if you need them.

By the way, "no-service" may be that you are travelling in a foreign country where you have no roaming agreement, or if your roaming is disabled.

Maybe i can Help here around actually one way helped me!

Useing the Saving Battery tips from apple

And then restore your iphone in the factory mod dont reinstall the backup youve made!

Make the iPhone empty fuly = 0%

Then charge it for 9-12 Hours

After this use the apple tips and your iphone should hold like 12-16 hours my highest time was 12 Hours active used (wifi allways on and edge , fb online , twitter online , and some apps in the background opened) if u aint use it in the sleep mode the battery stays and wont lose even for 3 days just if you use it if you use it daily every 5 Minutes it drops 1% that is in 60 Minutes 10-12% or maybe even if you know how to do it 5% :3

^ not practcial. one should never have to resort to a full restore and losing their notes, data et al because of a battery drain issue. most people have lots of data and maybe this works for you for whatever unknown reason. Maybe you don't have hardly anything installed. People need to send apple feedback that they're having battery drain issues.

Here's something that works for me.

First check if you have this problem: go to the Messages application and try to set a message up for deletion. If the red delete button vanishes in a a few seconds then your phone is draining battery - like mine does.

Fixing the problem: Turn off bluetooth if it is on. Close all applications except the main ones...phone, mail, contacts, messages (here's how you close applications: double click the home button, keep an app at the bottom pressed until they all wobble and then close them). Turn on the wireless or 3G. Open the AppStore application. Let it open a page. Press the home button. Close the AppStore app just as you closed apps earlier. Now go back to the message application to check (as before) if you have the problem continuing. If the problem continues, try the above steps after a resart of the phone.

Works for me. Unfortunately, the problem comes back every 3-4 days.

If you normally disable cellular data and tried all previously discussed but still have the problem that Usage and Standby is the same, it is worth trying below.

- Turn on cellular data so that your iphone can receive all SMS and MMS massage that had not been received by your iphone.

Actually this is all.

You can disable cellular data again if you want but be aware that the problem may occur again if you receive SMS or MMS that can not be received due the the setting "Turn off cellular data".

Good luck!
