What Compressor Settings for the web?

I have a 1min40 sequence with the Settings: PAL, Frame Size: 1280x720, 25fps, Compressor HDV720p25. What Compressor Settings would you recommend please:
1) to put it in a website
2) for Broadcast: would Apple ProRes HQ be a good choice?

Yep. But since Andy is from so far in the future- is it possible he has not yet received that thread- hence the need to re-ask it?

Otherwise, it would seem that the OP has the reading comprehension (or attention span) of a 2nd grader.

In the Options of H264 Settings is a box called Prepare for Internet Streaming. Should I check it? To do the website compression?

I'm not going through Compressor, but through QuickTime Conversion. However I followed your Settings - ie. 44kHz although my sequence is 48? - . And there is a box that says Prepare for internet streaming. Should I select or de-select? Many thanks.

This is the joke: Andy Mees lives on the south-east asia side of the timeline- hence the "from the future " comment.

He is also a consummate professional. He pays very close attention to his work both artistically and technically and is extremely helpful to this forum.

You could learn much from him. There is little excuse for not knowing this stuff if you have been at it for more than a few months. It is a complex biz but a professional understands the limit of their knowledge and hires the people to fill in the gaps. Professionals understand the value of what they seek. It is the amateurs and dilettantes want something for nothing.

Hi Studio X,
It's nice to have the budget to hire specialists. I've been an editor for decades - at FCP for couple of years and still learning.- No budget to even have an assistant who's tech savvy. That's why I ask for help on this Forum of professionals who help each other. Thank you.

Dear Andy, communication is a many splendored thing... I meant that in these no-budget times, when producers can't pay for tech support I turn to this Forum for sharing in others, more tech savvy editors. Hopefully one day I can help somebody else. I thought that's what "community" means. We're all in the same boat, are we not?
