There is a way, which if you read this thread or did a search here you would know. But since my mind reading (thread guessing?) skills are weak tonight I have no idea whatsoever whether you are using a Mac or a PC, and you didn't bother to share that information with us.

I'll assume you are using a PC. Try this: http://www.yamipod.com/main/modules/home/

You should also invest in an external hard drive and some backup software.

if my video camera didn't need a new batery i would take pics/video of my method of selecting and drag n drop. ipod touch and iphone don't have disk mode so idk why you said that.
i need a re-align because it's my only backup and 2 2tb hdd for $69 where are you in the u.s.
like i said if u wanna make another topic i'll make one.

hope i helped with the real question.

This may seem stupid and may not even be the right thread....
BUT,
I just want to listen to the music I have purchased on iTunes through the iStore on my computer. NOT my iPod or any other device, just through the speakers on my computer. I want to create a button that says, "iJUSTWANNAPLAYIT", lol
Why can't I figure out how to add purchased music to my Library or playlist or Genisus or anything that will simply just play my music?
Does this make sense?
Can anyone explain this to me in Layman terms, because I am frustrated:(
thanks

Yea I've used CopyTrans in the past it works perfectly. But after which iTunes said my iPod was screwed and I needed to restore it even though it is working perfectly.Looks like there is some protection for this also 😟 I have never fixed it and use CopyTrans to transfer all my music and stuff now. It's a great iTunes replacement. (Updates need to be done via iTunes)

1.Reinstall your system and your iTunes library, or just get your music, videos and photos off your iPod, and save them to your computer

2.Back up all of your music, playlists, videos and photos from iPod to a new computer.

3.Share your iPod contents with a friend.

4.Restore your songs, movies, and photographs from your iPod if you'tve lost your iTunes music library during a system crash.

Know more about how to transfer or copy music from iPod to PC, which included the detailed tutorials of how to transfer your music from iPod to PC.

Hopefully this works for all of you like it just worked for me!
