3G internet not working on iPhone 4
The wi-fi works fine and I have full reception.
Anyone know why this is happening?
I'm on Rogers.

I had the same problem - was driving me crazy. On Verizon here in the US, there's no settings to fill out, but what did the trick for me was resetting the network settings (Settings -> General -> Reset -> Reset Network Settings). Phone rebooted, and then 3G started working.
I've tried all of that, it doesn't work! Plz help me!!!!!
I HAVE A FIX
I work at a verizon store and had a customer come in with this problem.
First off the little "o" your seeing means your phone is connected to GPRS which is slow for data.
"E" means EDGE data which is also hot garbage.
--------------------------------------------------
The Way I fixed her phone was:
1. Go to Settings, about phone, reset, reset network settings and let phone reboot.
2. Turn Airplane mode "ON", hit home button and return to home screen
3. Hold home button, and power simultaneously until the screen goes black and wait for the apple icon to appear.
4. When apple icon appears release both buttons; let phone boot normally
5. 3g and service should be returned to normal
Hope this helps. Also turning off your cellular data if possible under general settings and turning it back on may help.
This solved the problem on my phone after many fruitless attempts. Thank you.🙂
Verion is a CDMA network. CDMA uses 1xRTT, not GPRS. When the 'O' shows on a Verizon phone, it is using 1xRTT. Sprint & Metro PCS are also CDMA.
GSM networks, such as AT&T and T-Mobile, use GPRS.
