iPhone not connecting to PC at all

From a week my iPhone stopped responding to my PC. When I plug the cable in.. nothing. Not loading, not even a sound. PC has same reaction - no iTunes and no mass storage device.. And its not listed in the Portable devices. I've reinstalled iTunes, Apple Mobile Driver and EVERYTHING ELSE I found. I've readen ALOT in google for 4 days and still can't fix my problem. The funny thing is that it works on any other PC, but not on mine. On other PC's it connects, charges, syncs fine (with the same cable). I've tried another cable - still nothing.
I really need to fix this until tomorrow, since im going on a trip and when I plugged it on my school PC, iTunes deleted my music from the library and I have to go into the system folders to find it and listen.. and no playlists and things... I've tried everything and nothing worked.
I've even reinstalled my windows and still no connection. Please give me a solution..

P.S. I remember that last thing I did is that I ticked "Start iTunes when this device is plugged" on iTunes. Then I don't know if i plugged it in after that and if it worked.

Since I was so nicely reminded that I forgot to post the link and have been away for a while, I've come back to post the link. The fix is here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ts1538

The third step reinstalled the missing driver that is located on your iPhone. It walks you through the steps to add it to your computer. After reinstalling the driver, my computer recognized the phone. Apparently, some update boots the driver.

Go to Start and then type Device Manager in the search field and then press enter if you are using windows 7 operating system. If you are using windows XP then go to start and then right click on my computer and then select manage. In the open window choose Device Manager.

right click on my computer then go to preperties. once you open that there should be one tab on left hand side for device manager.

WORKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been trying for several months, I found this answer in another discussion.

I've tried, reinstalling, and uninstalling both iTunes and Apple Mobile Support/ Device. Nothing worked.

This did:

You're going to basically unplug the USB settings, to reset the Device USB, and make it sync again.

Try using another Iphone adapter and another PC adapter and finally use another Wi-Fi. This should do it. 🙂

My Iphone 4s charges yet it doesn't appear on my pc at all I've tried a lot of cables it didn't work......tried everything even cleaning the port & still.......add to that that ipad & a friend's iphone 4,I am giving up been looking for a month what should I do?

I tried this and so far it worked. This is for a Windows 7 PC:

1. Go to Device Manager

2. Look for Portable Devices

3. Uninstall Apple iPhone

4. Reconnect iPhone to computer using USB

5. Re-installation will begin

6. Click Trust from the iPhone screen

7. Verify if the phone is charging and a pop up window should show on the screen
