Problem with the Update bug in AppStore with 10.6.7

Hi everyone,

I have also got the problem with the Update notification in the App Store, and I have tried everything, downloaded the Delta update and the Combo, but still the same problem. I have also tried the advised points in Itunes, payment set to 'none' and reset the warnings for purchases and downloads.

App: Poker HD free

Can someone help me please?

Thank you!

I too have this issue. Twitter app is the problem. Updating always "repeats" itself. Once I update the app, Mac App Store is all ok, reporting that the Twitter app is updated. But once I quit and restart Mac App Store, it seems to forget that the Twitter app is already updated and reports that an update is available... again. It also seems to happen to the Twitter app (2.0.2), other applications fine.

The 10.6.7 update also didn't resolve my issue.

I went to the Applications folder and when I did a spotlight search in there for Xcode it showed me an Install Xcode icon - opened this - and then clicked install. Now updating as it should have done.

Strange that MacBook didn't need this step to be completed before accepting update. Also I'd opened and run Xcode on iMac already, so it was installed.

Anyway, nice easy fix, no clearing caches or deleting plist files

Same problem here with Twitter for Mac.

The problem started with the 10.6.7 update. Before, I didn't have a problem with the Mac App Store and the updates it did to my apps.

It's really annoying to constantly have to update the Twitter for Mac app every time I open the Mac App Store. I checked out the other threads, and I have a MacBook Pro 17, so I don't have different volumes, only a single one, so disabling Spotlight and unmounting drives isn't going to work for me.

The problem has been going on for a few weeks and it's annoying. I wish they'd fix this. I've tried uninstalling the app, reinstalling it, deleting it, uninstalling it with Cleanmymac, etc, and it didn't work.

Thanks
