TurboTax quits when printing

After finishing my taxes in Turbotax, I press the Print button and the program quits. The program printed prior to upgraded to 10.6.7. I was running 10.5. My Mac prints fine from other programs. I contacted Turbotax. They upgraded my program with no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

I tried removing the program and the .plist then reinstalled Premier. Same issues occurred.

I then removed the Courier fonts from the root Library and placed them in the disabled font folder. I restarted the computer, opened Turbotax and was able to print. I will leave the Courier font in the disabled fonts folder until I have completed my tax returns.

I will still like to see Turbotax fix the problem.

Thanks for all of your help.

TurboTax stops responding or "crashes" when attempting to print or save your tax return as a PDF file, if you installed the recently-released Macintosh OS X 10.6.7 update combo.

This issue affects both Online and Desktop software versions.

Workaround
1. In the Applications folder, locate and double-click Font Book to open it.
2. Click the PDF folder and look for these five fonts (if one or more of these are missing, add them to the PDF folder):
◦ Courier .font
◦ Helvetica
◦ Symbol
◦ Times
◦ Zapf Dingbats
3. If any of these five fonts have a yellow "warning" triangle to their right of their name, hold down the Control key and click to open a window.
4. In the pop-up window, you'll need to do two things:
1. Resolve Duplicates; and
2. Validate Font. For both, follow the on-screen instructions that appear.
5. When finished, create the .pdf file and then open it with Preview, which is located in the Applications folder. (We've found that Preview seems to work better than opening it with Adobe PDF Viewer.)

I tried the suggestion offered by baltwo....it came up with 'serious' problems with two of the fonts....I deleted those.....there were no on screen insturctions on what to do once you validate or resolve duplicates.....now I can't print anything. Ugh.....guess I shouldn't have deleted those fonts....any suggestions?

This problem is back with Turbotax 2011 for Mac. App crashes when trying to print or print/pdf save the return. It worked OK on my first run but didn't automatically save my tax file as in past years. So had to reenter data again! Then when I tried to print, the turbotax app crashes. The difference is that I updated the app to Feb 3 version from Dec 31 version for my second file creation. The latest one crashes on print.

Well, I just downloaded the Feb 13 version of Turbotax and opened my tax file that had crashed while printing with the Feb. 3 version. With just the federal tax software loaded I could print forms without a problem. As soon as I redownloaded the CA state tax add-on, the app crashes when I try to print or save to pdf. I will post this on TT support.
