You're way off base here, Meg, and living in the past. The younger generation doesn't care about toasting capabilities like we do - they want higher speed coffee capability. If Apple wants to remain viable, they're going to have to offer n tablet that will give the user CHOICE about their coffee options - variety of blending and brewing techniques. I hear Krups has developed a prototype tablet that will do all of this at a competitive price with only minor sacrifices in size and weight.

They claim Full feature coffee maker, but they don't tell you the truth that it won't brew all coffees. I need decaf, and now after I've preordered it, I find out that it won't brew decaf!! Their sales people should be up-front and tell you right away that it can't. Why doesn't Apple make that obvious? I know why ... it's to force people to only buy the APPLE brand of coffee. I don't care how much more battery will drain by brewing the decaf, that's what I want and Apple should give us the choice.

Apple is holding this feature out so you have to buy the iPad 4... In the meantime you'll have to get the Whining app, it's free (see my post above about this app)

Well I'm not touching it with a bargepole. I am sufficiently intelligent to know that the very first update to iOS will result in the complete failure of my home Wifi network, the reduction of the battery life to little more than two hours, the loss of my 3G connection wherever I am, and a complete loss of my understanding of the word "backup".
