Will I have to start learning all over again ?

Hi there,

I saw a video clip of Apple presenting the new Final Cut Pro X which gonna replaced Final Cut Express4.

Does that mean I gotta start learning all over again from scratch ?

Thanks

Not from scratch, but yes, you will need to learn new things. But then, isn't that the way of life?

If they completley re-designed the iPhone so no one knew how to use it anymore, would anyone buy it? No. That's why everything is probably almost the same in the new version of Final Cut, but there have been updates,....

FCP-X is no 'update' but a from-ground-new app.

We had the same discussion years's ago, when the same engineer-team published under the old name 'iMovie' a completely new app (08, now 11).-

FCP-X is no update - it is something very new - and very exciting! 🙂
