Hi everyone, is there a way to set reduce the font size used in the threads here? I see that I can set it via the menu above while I am typing this, but what about older threads I have subscribed to or initiated?

Thanks

Skype 5.0 has numerous interaction problems as well. Fortunately, the Discussions aren't as laden with bad UI decisions. The problem with diddling with these interfaces to make for sharper images, however, is that their sharpness, arguably a cosmetic feature, is bought with awkwardness in the use of the underlying application. That's a Faustian bargain. It makes no one happy in the end.

I think this might (should) work:

#jive-thread-messages-container p {font-size: 0.7em !important;}

paste that in a text file and save it with the extension .css and in your Safari preferences -> Advanced -> choose that file as Style sheet (or just add that line to a style sheet you are already using)

edit: added the !important

I then tested it and it works!

Conversely one might say it's also conceited to keep things geeky and done in "old school" ways that don't blend with the modern trends.

The "modern" trends that are well suited for social networking sites are not necessarily well suited for support sites. ASC is not FaceBook, nor is it Twitter. ASC is not for idle chit-chat nor are the topics we discuss here easy to limit to 160 or less character messages.

The format should suit the purpose. There is nothing "old school" about that.

Ashka, I don’t think that is the correct route, see my post a few posts up:

Does anyone know where to give feedback or how to reach the  Discussions team? It’s not like this is an Apple product where we can go the usual route (ADC bugreporter or Apple’s feedback pages)...
