How do I insert a CD to the iPad 2?

I would like to watch my VHS movies on my iPad 2, but the tape won't fit. Any advise?

@gpacharlie: Try the remote app on your iPod. That should take care of your remote problem. Hate it when that happens. It's only supposed to do that in YouTube. :)

No. That size won't fit. As you probably already know ( are you testing our knowledge?), the larger size - is it 5 1/2? Will fit. A DAT tape or 8 track cartridge will work, too, although it will be a little tight. Use your FireWire, though.

Use the Pinch gesture on the slot to expand it to the size of the CD, insert the CD before you let go of the gesture. Once you let go, the slot will go back to its original size, when you want to take it out, tap on the slot with 3 fingers 3 times.

This is the funniest conversation I have read in this forum I particularily like stedman1's suggestion. My 82 y.o mother in law just bought an iPad 2 I'll have to mention that one to her but I dont think even she is that stupid.

So.. What would be the solution..if I'm trying to get rid of my laptop and just have my iPad.. But I work a lot with professional photos that need to be upload via a CD.. Is there some sort of adaptor for the iPad?

The only thing that's close to what you've described is the Apple iPad Camera Connection Kit (http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC531). You can use the assessory to import photos from a SD card and from the camera's USB cable, but no CDs/DVDs. To be honest, you wouldn't need to burn photos to CD with this unless you're looking to save photos other than using photo stream on iCloud (http://www.apple.com/icloud/features/photo-stream.html)
