And bring in occupy wall street cause apple is now the most profitable company in the country!! Even ahead of the big nasty evil oil companies!!!! Strange cause the demand for oil is so much greater? Looks like apples "business decisions" we're good ones... Why, cause Jobs knew all you suckers would not only pay but mindlessly support it.

All hope is lost for America

My partner bought me an iPad to replace my HP notebook. Can't begin to describe how ****** off I was to discover that I couldn't do half of what I could do on my notebook. So much for new and very expensive technology! Would think that if Apple don't support Flash on iPads then they could at least come up with a decent alternative. It only seems to confirm what I previously thought of Apple in general which is that Apple are gimmicky and exclusive. No where have I seen advertised that Apple iPads don't support Flash and it's very easy for the average consumer such as myself to assume that by purchasing such a 'fancy' piece of technology that I'll be able to use it in the same way one can use a desk top/laptop! As far as I'm concerned it's bull s#%! If only I could go back in time I would have spent my hard earned cash on a product that was capable of accessing all the basic Internet systems!!!!!!!

Why does no one do research before buying something so expensive?

The whole flash thing does not bother me. I have had an iPhone since 2007 and will continue buying them each year.

I don't have an iPad and don't intend to get one because it can't do what my MacBook can such as download files from the net other than photos and PDFs.

I knew there were limits when the first iPad was released and knew it wasn't for me. For some reason, Apple keeps calling this the post PC world but until iPhones and iPads can do what my MacBook can do, it's not a post PC world and yes Macs are PCs (personal computers).

You're absolutely correct. You purchased a product that does not do what you want it to do. Why did you do that?

There are alternatives, but habitual whiners are too busy whining to check for this with many included in this thread.

Too funny and clueless. Everything you do with that swiss cheese for secuirty garbage OS that is Windows is due to Apple since Windows is nothing but an upside and down and backwards ****-poor copy.

But you didn't spend the money, your partner did, and Flush is not a basic internet system. It is proprietary, exclusive, and gimmicky. Regardless, you can sell the iPad faster than it takes to post another whine.

They didn't come up with Flash in the first place so they won't come up with a replacement.

Consider the fact that even Adobe did not complete a version of Flash for iOS.

I don't see it advertised they don't support hot tubs or moon landings either.
