Hi everyone, i appreciate I'm late on this one but it'd be really cool to find out how I can get a solution to this.

I dont care about the politics between apple and adobe or the iHaters or iFanboys opinions, I just want to be able to use some websites like BBC.com for example which have videos I can't play. Also there are times when I have tried to book flights or busses and I cannot using this device. Is there a plugin or an app that can translate flash into something my iPad likes without me having to open a new browser and find the relevant page again?

System informatio: i have a brand new top of the range iPad.

Many thanks,

SpecialHeinrich

'Adjust to the this new reality'? Er, ok. 'Interpoersonal'? That's a new word. Sweet! I dont think you understood what i was getting at but thanks for trying. I'm a big fan of all the computers for schools initiatives.

Cheers Vazandrew, i'll give it a go.

I know flash won't work and fair enough if apple doesn't get on with adobe, just provide an easy way for your customers to view those content types.

The bottom line is Flash is not available for iOS. Some users constantly offer these alternate browsers but they are all based on servers that convert Flash content and then send it back to your device. The results are substandard and slow in all cases. There is no sense in trying to present the facts in a positive light. Flash does not work on iOS devices, never has, and never will. Only when web sites choose to support iOS devices will the experience improve. As has been pointed out a large number of sites offer iOS apps that allow the viewing of content. Most major sites already support iOS directly. The holdouts choose to ignore the most popular mobile platform in the world (yes, iHaters, iOS is by far the most used mobile platform for accessing the Internet, not your precious Android). Some sites may have financial reasons for delaying support, others may be run by admins that have an axe to grind. The fact is that there are over 100 million iOS users in the world now and that's a lot of potential customers to ignore. But that's the case for some web sites.

You mention the BBC. I have been an Apple users since 1982 and the BBC has never fully embraced or supported any Apple platform. Just fact.
