Microsoft has made it clear that they will be pushing the Metro implementation to make everything touchscreen which will limit the Flash usability.

Flash has been present on a number of different tablets including HP, several Android iterations, and the Playbook. All of them heavily advertised that they had Flash. So by your reasoning these tablets now dominated the tablet market and Apple is barely scraping by to give away the iPad. Because by your reasoning there is a vast market of people who want Flash on their tablet.

But this didn't happen and two of the above comptetitors are already gone.

Microsofts closest competitor in the tablet world is going to be Android, not iOS, and they are coming from a long way back. I doubt the fight will be over Flash.

And I think the opinion that apps are as dead as CDs is sort of surreal. I like my drawing apps to be on my iPad, not something I have to go to a website and use Flash.

I know flash is on other tablet devices but I specifically have been waiting for windows 8 with flash on a tablet.

That is nice, but are you waiting for Windows 8 specifically because it has Flash (if you are not using Metro) or because you specifically want Windows 8?

Or, put another way, if the Windows 8 Tablet did not include Flash would you then purchase an Android tablet with Flash?
