Your right. I was bored and wanted to give Steve a bash, well, mostly cause he deserves one for being evil. You could just say he is fitting in.

Adobe could care less about iOS being open or not. They have never used it as an argument against Apple. They have never attacked Apple like Steve attacked Flash. The thing is, I can make a Flash game without even buying Flash, or I can make a Android game without buying a membership to the Android store. For free, and without any rules. I have to pay Apple $100 dollars to submit a game for IPhone. That's lame. So what does open mean to you anyway? Oh wait, I don't care.

HTML5 has a video tag, and thus the argument arises, why use Flash when HTML5 can play videos. Well, playing videos is 1/1000 of what Flash does.

I have an HP with a touch screen, Flash works great. I also have a Droid with a touch screen, Flash works great. Ever tried that? I have.

If we took Flash off the internet right now, everyone, including Apple fanatics like yourself, would be seriously depressed about the lack of interactivity and half of the really cool websites would be gone.

You can't really argue with crazy people can you.

Is this a 5 minute rant or did you pay for the full half hour?

The link will stop for the specific message or discussion group you are viewing.

Sounds like you may have it on for a few messages/groups.

At top right if this page, click on Your Stuff > Notifications and uncheck everything.

I am surprised that people here are convinced that html 5 is a better technology than flash. Its like saying bicycle is better than gas guzzling SUV's (its true if you don't appreciate what car can do for you). HTML 5 might be less resource consuming but flash can do 1000 things more then html 5. I don't think html 5 and flash should be compared. Flash compliments html 5.

Thought so.

Adobe, have used the argument that iOS isn't open, if I can find it I'll post it.

Can all of what flash does be used on Touch?I'm saying no and so are others. Flash works, but it does not work great.

If we took Flash off the internet right now......

To be honest, I'd notice some difference yes but I think It'd be small. My day to day browsing is done with Cookies, Java, Plugins etc Off unless I really need it.

Apple fanatics like yourself

Apple fanatic. Ok, I'll have to take your word for it.

......half of the really cool websites would be gone.

Really? Gone, or just reduced in a specific functionality, (that might soon be replaced)? I don't play flash games either. Never have.

You can't really argue with crazy people can you

I think I might be doing it now.....😁

But it's no big deal, we are different, we have different views. So what?
